About Us
Fast Future was built and is run by experienced serial entrepreneurs and startup investors. Our team has decades of experience as successful entrepreneurs in media and technology, together founding five companies (including Fast Future) - three of which completed successful exits. We have raised money from friends and family, angel investors, and institutional VCs, and we have been on the acquisition as well as the sales side of multiple transactions.
We built our companies in Louisville, KY, however the bulk of the investments came from the coasts. As a result, we are acutely aware of the disparities in talent attraction and capital formation that exist in the majority of regions across our nation and of the enormous, untapped opportunity it represents. We founded Fast Future in 2019 in order to focus on and support these under-resourced areas. For four years, we have worked closely with the builders and innovators in these regions who are instrumental in creating the innovation ecosystems of the future.
Our network of venture capitalists and entrepreneurs are particularly interested in investing in these cities and regions. Our experience has shown us there are dozens of underserved (by both capital and talent) regions that are poised to create thriving innovation ecosystems and move fast into the innovation economy. Our mission is to help them succeed and to promote their successes and the resulting opportunities to the larger innovation ecosystem.
We have two missions:
- Support the people and organizations building innovation ecosystems in underserved regions
- Attract and engage talent and capital by promoting to the rest of the country, and the world, the very exciting and innovative initiatives across the US that are creating tremendous opportunities for talented people and smart capital
