LOUIS, MO—TechSTL is a new organization that will be focused on boosting the St. Louis region’s tech industry, with the ultimate goal of making it the “most diverse high-tech innovation hub in the country.” TechSTL was made possible through a $474,020 grant awarded in 2021 by the U.S. Economic Development Administration to St. Louis Development Corp.
Interview platform raises $8M
INDIANAPOLIS, IN—Woven, a company that has developed an interview platform for software companies to hire engineers, has closed on an $8 million Series A round of funding. Woven’s platform allows engineers to complete assessments of their skills rather than simply relying on their resumes, which the company says helps employers find the right candidates to fill their needs.
Tellennium’s Management of Things a registered trademark
LOUISVILLE, KY–Technology expense management firm Tellennium announced that its platform Management of Things is now a fully registered trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Launched in 2021, MoT is a telecom expense management platform that covers expenses, services, and assets, e.g., infrastructure (cloud), connectivity (fixed, wireless, UCaaS, WAN, SD-WAN, and others), support, software/services licensing, and utilities.
