MOSourceLink’s new jobs report shows Missouri startups are adding jobs
MISSOURI–MOSourceLink released its latest “Show Me Jobs” report and it showed that Missouri tech startups were a huge factor in employment. In 2021, new tech startups, defined as first-time employers in tech industries with fewer than 20 employees, created 1,297 new jobs, recouping a dip in jobs created by new tech firms in 2019 and 2020. Accounting for the employees hired in each year from 2017 through 2020, as well as job losses, tech startups created a cumulative total of 7,930 jobs in 2021.
TrustMAPP integrates with Cisco Secure Cloud Insights
MINNEAPOLIS, MN–Minneapolis-based cybersecurity company TrustMAPP announced a new integration with Cisco Secure Cloud Insights, a cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) platform. The partnership will make it easier for security teams to measure cloud posture and generate a maturity posture with financial forecasting for remediation of risks and non-compliance of controls across cloud assets.
Involta expands Cleveland-area data center
CLEVELAND, OH–Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based Involta announced the expansion of its Independence, Ohio, data center in the Cleveland market. The industry-leading hybrid IT, cloud computing and data center services company has added 14,000 square feet of space and an additional 1MW of much-needed power to the facility to meet the increasing demand for enterprise colocation in Ohio’s Northeast corridor. Involta introduced its Independence data center in 2017. The expanded facility now spans 40,000 square feet and brings Involta’s total capacity across Ohio to 10MW.
