  • NASHVILLE, TN—More things are happening in Music City: VendEngine Inc., which makes a cloud-based tech system that handles tasks at jails in 32 states, has been acquired for $84 million by Tyler Technologies Inc., a $1.12 billion-a-year member of the S&P 500 headquartered in the Dallas area.
  • ST. LOUIS, MO—Elemental Enzymes has inked a multi-year licensing agreement with Wilmington, Delaware-based Corteva Agriscience. Corteva will get the exclusive license for Elemental Enzyme’s WaterFlux technology, which aids crops in fighting adverse conditions.
  • MINNEAPOLIS, MN—Fintech startup Live.Give.Save has been acquired by Reseda Group, which is owned by the Michigan State University Federal Credit Union. With the acquisition, Reseda Group will form a new company called Spave LLC, named after Live.Give.Save’s flagship app.
