Online garden center Bloomscape, based in Detroit, has received $15 million in new financing, led by General Catalyst. Using a “patented shipping technology,” the company delivers house plants across the US. This round brings total funding to $24 million.
Louisville-based Koligo Therapeutics Inc.is being acquired by Maryland-based Orgenesis Inc. in a deal valued at $15 million. Koligo develops transformative cell therapies for pancreatic cancer.
Olive, an AI healthcare startup headquartered in Columbus, has raised $106 million in a round led by General Catalyst and Drive Capital, among others. Olive is designed to improve healthcare operations by automating and optimizing workflows.
Indy-based Malamo, a platform to help ecommerce firms market to post-sale customers, has secured a $2.7 million Series Seed, led by Base10 Partners, Harlem Capital, and Irish Angels, all founded and led by Black and female investors.
Emerson, based in St. Louis, has completed the acquisition of Progea Group, an Italian company that provides a host of technologies, including industrial IoT, plant analytics, and human-machine interfaces.
