COLUMBIA, MO—EquipmentShare, a construction fleet and digital solutions startup, announced a $230 million investment round that will help launch a new core tech solution for their EquipmentShare Track smart jobsite technology.
- COLUMBUS, OH—Robotics welding company Path Robotics raised $100 million in Series C funding to build on its imaging and AI efforts. Tiger Global led the round and was joined by investors, including Silicon Valley Bank.

RALEIGH, NC—People love a clean car! Global tech firm Vontier, headquartered in Raleigh, announced it was acquiring Ohio-based DRB Systems, LLC for approximately $965 million. DRB is a provider of POS, workflow software and control solutions for the car wash industry.
- ANN ARBOR, MI—Renaissance Venture Capital has closed its fourth fund with $77.5 million of new capital. Renaissance invests in venture capital funds around the country, bringing them into Michigan’s startup ecosystem. It then connects those funds and their startups with organizations looking for innovation.
- IOWA—Two software startups in Iowa have received $100,000 each to further develop their apps: Des Moines-based Gain Compliance, for its software platform that assists businesses with filing their financial reports; and FarmPost, Inc., the developer of a mobile app for farm labor management.
