CINCINNATI, OH–When George Lucas’s sound production company Skywalker Sound needed to create a portfolio of aviation sounds for the latest blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, they turned to GE Aviation. The team headed over to GE Aviation’s Peebles Test Operation, a 7,000-acre facility in rural Ohio that has been used by GE to test engines for nearly 70 years.
