Why are people not getting the vaccine? Jennifer Trueblood, an associate professor of psychology at Vanderbilt University, worked with researchers out of the University of Chicago in a study to better understand people’s thought processes behind their decisions to get the COVID-19 vaccine or not. Vaccines and nursing mothers A new study at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis indicates that nursing mothers pass on antibodies through their breast milk, giving their children a “huge boost” against COVID-19. COVID-19 monitoring Pittsburgh-based TeleTracking Technologies Inc. has received a new $13 million contract from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to continue monitoring hospital capacity and other measures during the COVID-19 pandemic.
