Eli Lilly expands in Indiana
INDIANAPOLIS, IN–Eli Lilly announced that it will build a pair of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants in Boone County, Indiana, with the goal to become a research and development park similar to North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park. The plants will occupy a 7,000-acre tract that the Indiana Economic Development Corp. bought earlier this year.
Detroit couple donate $5 million for joint research work
DETROIT, MI–Detroit philanthropists Ron and Heather Boji have made a foundational donation of $5 million to a Henry Ford Health and Michigan State University partnership. The philanthropic support is intended to help fund the new Health Sciences Center for joint research work.

The campus was made possible by a gift from Christina Lee Brown valued at $47 million.
