LINCOLN, NE–Opendorse is an athlete marketplace and NIL technology company that serves the full lifecycle of supporting athletes, such as educating, assessing, planning, sharing, creating, measuring, tracking, disclosing, regulating, and booking. The company has raised $20 million in its latest funding round. Multiple companies participated in the funding round, including Fast Future Capital, Will Compton, Serra Ventures, former Formula One Managing Director Sean Bratches, and Advantage Capital.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–JPMorgan Chase is investing $405,000 in a new program that will help break down barriers for entrepreneurs of color in Oklahoma. The OKC Minority Founder Accelerator aims to be a catalyst for greater community development across the city’s underserved business communities. The accelerator will help connect minority-owned businesses with capital and technical assistance access, and talent retention and recruitment.

Solis Agrosciences closes on growth capital financing

ST. LOUIS, MO–Startup Solis Agrosciences was created to provide R&D crop development services to agtech companies. The company just closed on major growth capital financing led by Hermann Companies, Jim McKelvey, and BioGenerator Ventures. The funding will allow Solis to expand with additional talent and infrastructure to meet the needs of a growing customer base.

Tech-enabled property mgmt platform closes on $750,000 seed round

COLUMBIA, MO–Nick Farquhar, co-founder of Appreciate, a tech-enabled property management dashboard that allows owners to access real-time insight into portfolio performance and expense transparency, was the winner of Columbia Startup Week 2022. Now Appreciate has closed on a $750,000 seed round with an investment from Dundee Venture Capital. Farguhar says he will use the money to grow the number of units and to expand Appreciate into Kansas City and St. Louis.
