Populous chosen for multi-use event arena in Germany
KANSAS CITY, MO—Sports architecture firm Populous has been chosen as the architect for a new multi-use, climate-neutral, 20,000-capacity event arena in Munich. The event arena will be climate-neutral thanks to lifecycle-based planning to reduce the carbon footprint during construction and climate-positive management of the operating phase. The arena will boast several thousand solar panels, ensuring that the energy for operating the arena can be generated and supplied on site.

LOUIS, MO–By funding an AgriFoodTech track in the annual Arch Grants Startup Competition, BioGenerator, the startup arm of BioSTL; the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center; and The Yield Lab have partnered with Arch Grants to extend more funding opportunities specifically to AgriFoodTech companies.
FreightWise secures major investment
NASHVILLE, TN—Homegrown logistics tech startup FreightWise has corralled major funding from a group led by a Geneva-based firm, Unigestion SA. FreightWise’s software is designed to identify the carriers and routes that will lead to the shortest delivery times and lowest costs, while also auditing invoices from those multiple shippers.
